FAQ

DO YOU HAVE UNIFORMS?
YES! We require our students to wear iLingo Academy t-shirts and khaki or navy blue shorts, pants, or skorts with closed toe, closed back shoes.
DO YOU PROVIDE MEALS?
Currently, during COVID=19 we will be providing snacks but we ask that parents bring in a lunch for their child packed in a disposable bag.
DO YOU CHARGE FOR VPK?
VPK is paid by the State, however for any additional hour outside the VPK day (9-12) there is wraparound fee.
WHY MULTILINGUAL?
Research shows children that learn a second language perform better in all areas of academics. The languages we offer are some of the most spoken languages in the world.
WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD START AT ILINGO ACADEMY?
We begin class at age 2 years. The child must be 2 on or before September 1st of the school year.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
YES! We offer sibling discounts, military discounts, full payment discounts, and payment made in 2 payments.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN AFTER SCHOOL AND AFTER CARE?
Our After School program is for student enrolled at Eagle Creek Elementary School. We will pick them up each day and walk them to the Academy for activities. Our After Care program is for our preschool students staying after our school day classes end at 3:00.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
Our normal hours will be 6:30-6:30, although during the COVID-19 pandemic we may need to adjust these hours. Our half day programs will run 9:00-12:00 and 12:00-3:00.
WHAT IS YOUR DISCIPLINE POLICY?

We utilize positive discipline and guidance techniques. The purpose of discipline is to help children develop self-control, and to teach children that each person is responsible for their own actions. Please see our full discipline policy here.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON POTTY TRAINING?
We do not require children in our 2 year old class (2 on or before 9/1) to be potty trained. We will work with families to make the transition from diapers to toileting as stress free as possible. Children in our 3 year old (on or before 9/1) and up classes must be fully potty trained.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATIOS?
We are dedicated to providing quality education and we believe low teacher to student ratios is crucial to accomplishing that goal. We pride ourselves on classrooms with lower ratios than Florida licensing laws require.
